Dreams
Dream's thinking is in the sky
Draped in mood swings
He assumes in unexpected ways.
In The Alchemist, Coelho shows if you want to dream you have to think like a dreamer. “There was nothing to hold him back except himself. The sheep, the merchant’s daughter, and the fields of Andalusia were only steps along the way to his destiny.” (Coelho 27) There is nothing to hold you back but you always think in a different point of view. That way you validly see the outcomes of the choices. “He had suddenly remembered that, in Tarifa, there was an old woman who interpreted dreams.” (11) Coelho is showing that you should not be afraid to dream because it helps you think out your ideas. Your dreams help you think in different ways so you can understand. Coelho says that dreams help you think in a different direction.
